WWF's Earth Hour

On Saturday 28 March 2009 at 8.30pm, people, businesses and iconic buildings around the world will switch off their lights for an hour – WWF’s Earth Hour . WWF are hoping a billion people around the world sign up and join in and show the world’s leaders that we all care about the planet and that we want them to take action to deal with climate change.

With nearly 500 businesses, not to mention the many individuals, universities, schools, local authorities and communities already pledging their support, MLE have signed up to support Earth hour and are encouraging staff members to sign up individually as well.

It’s easy to sign up and take part so why not pledge your support too.
