PSU Design UK

Power Supply

We have designed equipment up to 100kW covering most technologies; AC-DC, DC-AC, DC-DC. Circuits down to 200mW for portable instruments etc. We have many years of experience in power supply design for UK companies and are up to date with the latest technologies. We also have extensive experience in designing UPS, switch mode systems, power control / monitoring and motor drive control applications

AC/DC Power Supply: Case Study

Mains offline AC/DC bespoke power supply design, providing three dedicated custom outputs. This unit was used in an MPEG satellite decoder and modulator.

Turbine scavenge fan controller: Case Study

An advanced controller for the monitoring and controlling of a scavenge fan used in a turbine. Using ruggedised power electronics to control the 400Hz supply, fault currents of up to 50A are monitored and controlled. This design incorporates an advanced micro-controller that continuously checks for the safe operation of both the unit and fan, then relays information to the management system.
