MLE has appointed Paul Risborough, an engineering manager with twelve years medical electronics experience, to lead its team focussing on major medical electronics projects. According to MLE managing director, Mike Lloyd, 'We are being successful in winning more and larger medical design and manufacturing contracts. Paul’s experience in this field and his successful track record in managing major projects will strengthen our team and increase our ability to win new projects in the future. His experience covers development and productionisation of hardware, as well as managing multi-disciplinary projects encompassing software and mechanical as well as electronic elements. I believe Paul will be a great asset to us as we grow.' Paul Risborough is excited at joining MLE, and said, 'I welcome the opportunity to apply my project leadership skills in the context of an energetic and fast growing company with an open culture and a wealth of new ideas.' Risborough brings MLE six years experience as an engineering manager, and a total of fourteen years design experience. His background includes exposure to both development engineering and production engineering environments. He joins MLE from Integra Neuro Sciences, where he spent eighteen months as an engineering manager. Prior to this, he spent five years at Cardinal Health Products as electronics engineering manager. Previously, he spent six years at Alaris Medical Systems in production engineering and R&D electronics design positions. He started his design career at Multiform Electronics, where he spent two years as a development engineer.
