MLE goes for 5 million
M L Electronics (MLE) announces today that it is aiming to grow its turnover
from £1 million to £5 million within the next 3 years. To support this the
company has rebranded, launched a new look website and refocused its
marketing efforts on the medical and industrial markets. The company plans
to use its recent wins of the Dyson award for Engineering and Virgin Mobile
Best Business Culture Award as a platform to build upon. It will promote
itself as development partner for companies requiring specialist electronics
systems and implement innovative personal development initiatives for its
staff to support them in achieving the 5M goal.
MLE has grown organically over the past 10 years and been involved in a
selection of wide-ranging projects from developing Greyworld’s moving
sculpture “The Source”, commissioned by The London Stock Exchange to
undertaking electronics development for Ferrari’s F1 team. The company is
now aiming for accelerated growth and has set a turnover of £5million as its
goal for the next 3 years. MLE was spurred on to set this goal after its
double success in the recent Wiltshire Business of the Year awards. Key to
supporting this aim will be the continued recruitment of quality personnel,
precise targeting of clients and intensive motivational efforts within the
MLE team.
To ensure absolute buy-in from the MLE team, owner-directors Mike and Sharon
Lloyd have invested heavily in innovative training approaches to support
their 5M bid. These have included sending team members on residential
Anthony Robbins courses and inviting motivational speaker Marcus Child, who
famously turned C&A’s final 6 months before closing its UK outlets into its
most profitable, to visit MLE and coach the team on achieving their dreams.
Further to this, members of the MLE team have been tasked with creating
dreamboards, which depict their personal and professional dreams and are
displayed within the office. These act as visible motivators to spur the
team on in achieving increased productivity and provide tangible goals for
all to see.
Managing Director, Mike Lloyd says,
“We always dreamed of running a business that
employed great people and worked with fantastic clients. We have already
achieved this and more; with our 5M goal firmly in our sights we are now
seriously stepping up a level. Our team is engaged, we’ve been awarded for
setting standards in design and business culture and we know where we are
going. The next three years are set to be MLE’s most exciting yet!”
