MLE exhibits at Ambient Assisted Living Event
ML Electronics Ltd will be exhibiting at an Ambient Assisted Living day hosted by De Montfort University and promoted by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (the IET) on 20th March 2009, in Leicester, UK.
Ambient assisted living (AAL, sometimes referred to as telecare or telehealth) is the use of technology, electronic systems and devices to support older and vulnerable people to live independently and autonomously in their own homes. It focuses on providing unobtrusive support for daily life in a way that is oriented towards the needs and capabilities of the user.
MLE will be meeting with representatives from a range of funding bodies and government organisations at the networking event as part of our ongoing commitment to support our clients in the Assisted Living market. Presenters on the day will describe the opportunities that are available to support product development and innovation in ambient assisted living technologies.
MLE will also be exhibiting at event, showcasing assisted living systems and technologies that we have developed on behalf of our clients, such as the low‑power wireless sensors, mesh network and remote data-logging and alarm features that are integrated into the LifeSys Care Monitor for residential and care homes.
