At ML
Electronics, we deliver cutting edge solutions every single day – such
as the groundbreaking new product we recently developed for Plasma
Surgical.
Plasma Surgical came to us for help in harnessing complex plasma
technology for medical use, and the result was the PlasmaJet™ – an
innovative device that coagulates bleeding tissues using a jet of argon
plasma; which is so effective it can reduce patient risk during surgery
and shorten hospital stay.
Plasma Surgical chose us for this exciting project, not just because we
have two of the UK’s leading power supply engineers on our team, or our
extensive capabilities in embedded control, but because of our
enthusiasm, empathy and our ability to really understand what was
required for this project.
Now approved by the FDA, and considered one of the most significant new
products at the American College of Surgeons (where the device was first
shown in 2003, and was even more enthusiastically received at the recent
2005 show), the PlasmaJet™ is currently entering production to meet
worldwide demand – and we are looking forward to continually evolving
and upgrading the product for many years into the future.
