Junior Engineer Alex Grant wins IET Prize
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Prize is awarded annually to outstanding students who are undergoing or have completed a course of study, which has been accredited by the IET or accredited by a National Institution with which the IET has a mutual recognition agreement. The prize winners are nominated by each approved university on the basis of having shown distinction in a specified stage of a course leading to the award of a first degree.
Alex Grant, Junior Engineer, was awarded an IET Prize yesterday at the Intercontinental Hotel, London Park Lane. Alex was nominated by Cardiff University.
"I'm delighted that Cardiff University decided to award me the 2011 IET prize. It's flattering to have my hard work recognized." - Alex Grant
"We're very proud to have capable people like Alex on our team, it's a true reflection of his dedication and hard work. Well done!"
Mike Lloyd, Director and CEO
