“Electronics design is all about being creative. There
are many ways to create a new electronic product but only a handful are outstanding. A
great design should be simple, elegant and efficient and MLE designs are
just that.”

 About MLE
Impressive ideas & a track record too
At ML Electronics we don’t pay lip service to having great ideas, our track
record of developing fantastic products for great clients speaks for itself.
To date companies like Ferrari’s F1 Team, Honeywell, Integra Neurosciences
and Plasma Surgical can be counted amongst MLE’s list of clients. They all
benefited from MLE’s ability to take a new or pre-existing idea and create a
commercially viable and innovative electronic product design.
At MLE we like to challenge ourselves as well as the companies we work with.
You can be assured that as experts in our field, we will provide you with
the best solution suited to your product. In order to do that we have to go
back to basics, and really discover what it is that you wish to achieve. It
may be that we can suggest an approach you had not previously considered.
Leading-edge technology
By utilising the very latest technologies, UK-based ML Electronics has the
capability to develop innovative new products that are cutting edge, have
greater efficiency and are more cost-effective. We can also design
electronic equipment to be physically smaller and consume less power - an
especially important aspect for battery and mobile system devices. Surface
mount assembly is also commonly used.
Strengths in embedded intelligence, power supplies and controllers
A major aspect of MLE development is the use of embedded control to simplify
production, reduce costs and increase innovation for a whole range of
products. PIC technology is frequently used.
The design of power supplies and controllers is key technology for many
applications. We have had many years of experience in designing standard
power supplies, chargers, filtering equipment, converters, inverters,
uninterruptible power supplies and power controllers and the creation of
related software.
Our engineers have expertise in many different fields and have created both
small projects and complex multi-technology systems, all with a blend of
innovation and cost-effectiveness, increasing your competitive advantage.
Proven technologies in your product
MLE have developed a library of proven technologies during their 10 years of
successful electronic product design, that are available for use in your product.
These software and hardware modules are high in their value and have been
developed as a result of innovative work in the aerospace, medical and
automotive markets, yet they are easily integrated into your project. By
using these tried and tested pieces of technology within your development
project, we are able to make your product a marketable reality quicker. You
gain the assurance that whilst your product is a unique development, it
contains proven technologies already operating out in the field in other MLE
development projects, which will continue to prove reliable and robust.
Design for manufacture
We have very sound understanding of the processes and techniques used within
all scales of electronics manufacturing. This has been gained through years
of experience as well as by having in-house manufacturing capabilities also.
As a result we are better able to create designs suited to these processes.
An added benefit of having in-house production expertise is that our
engineers work with production staff to develop an optimal design for your
product and its manufacturing requirements. This also ensures a smooth
transition from design to manufacture.
In-house prototyping and Pre-production
capabilities
We are also able to design prototypes and pre-production versions of your
product. Where specialist packaging and manufacturing processes are required
we have numerous industry contacts that are used for contractor outsourcing
and we also operate in house facilities for PCB production batches.
