Defence Electronic Product Design

For many years, we have provided sub-contract electronics design for defence products. Familiar with the many stringent standards and compliance requirements for military devices, whether airborne (helicopter), ground based or naval, our processes and quality systems have been tested many times and provide the bedrock of a solid quality plan.

We use Prince 2 principles for our project management and have our software and hardware processes audited by Tick-IT trained auditors. Component obsolescence, component selection and product life-cycles are also addressed as standard.  We have high quality UK manufacturing facilities to provide ongoing support for military products.

As an example, we understand the EMC requirements to satisfy 'direct line of fire' from Radar and designed our own susceptibility test equipment to generate the high levels of power transients.

With expertise in power supplies, inverters, converters, 400 Hz, starters, control panels and electronic controllers, our projects range from providing support to legacy defence electronics designs through to the design of hybrid circuits for advanced missile controls.
