We have extensive experience in
communications design for UK companies, digital processing, interface design, remote data
acquisition and related applications. We have developed low cost, low power PSTN remote
modem (V22) telemetry systems, multidrop LAN networks, RS232 / RS485 interfaces, fieldbus,
CAN BUS, PROFIBUS, serial / parallel computer port interface applications, USB and low
cost Profibus DP slave field bus node.

 Remote data acquisition
Design of complete public utility remote data acquisition
system using RF packet network and V22 PSTN network. Unit also utilises 1/4 VGA
display and database user technology. This allows dial up acquisition in a matter of
seconds. The modem is designed using state of the art low power technology. |

 Profibus / fieldbus
We have developed 'profibus' slave instrumentation systems for high speed
industrial monitoring and control. This low cost equipment can be added to almost
any industrial system. |
Interface design
Design experience includes RS232, 485, 422, USB,
fieldbus, CAN OPEN & IEEE GPIB. We have also developed multidrop LAN networks and have
designed protocols using checksums, CRC's & hamming distances.
