Case Study - 500W 48V-240V Inverter
The Design brief for this power supply: to create a combined PSU to replace several separate supplies in a system design with a view to manufacture 1,000 units. This is used in a telecoms monitoring environment.
Challenge:
To create a multi output power supply with transformerless mains inverter and other DC outputs. This is to be combined with communications and control protocols operating over IP with power control and monitoring over SNTP. To achieve all this in a cost effective design.

Instruments range optimised for power supply development, incorporating micro precision PWM's it is possible to create a commercial result with high performance.
Digital control algorithms and all PSU functionality in one chip ensure precise output with commercial costing. Planar Core isolation and drive transformers guarantee low cost, repeatability and high performance.
